Level up your quilting skills with Peggy in The Studio!
Join Peggy in The Studio to learn a new quilt block! Arkansas joined the Union on June 15, 1836, and we honor that event with making the Arkansas Star Quilt Block. This is an intermediate skill-level block. We will be sewing with triangles, but instead of the usual half-square triangles we normally do in class, these blocks will be using rectangles cut on the diagonal to make our star points. Instructions to make the block as well as the materials will be provided. There will be some cutting with a rotary cutter. This class is open to adults with some quilting experience!
