Teen Writers are invited to celebrate the first day of National Novel Writing Month together - bring your WIP and enjoy some writerly company!

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is an annual writing challenge with thousands of participants world wide. From November 1-30, writers take up their pens, pencils, laptops, typewriters and get to work. The end result? A fully drafted novel! (Typically, anyway.)

There are so many ways to be a part of NaNoWriMo, but most writers will tell you that the best part is the connections they've built with other writers throughout the process.

If you're between 12-18 and participating in this year's NaNoWriMo challenge, join us at this kick-off event in Room 126 at Laman Library. 

We'll have free coffee and snacks, a timed writing challenge, and a great chance to connect with other local teen writers.
