Want to get more exercise but need some extra motivation? Like to listen to audiobooks but need some uninterrupted listening time? Join the NLR Public Library and NLR Parks and Recreation for an Audiobook Walking Club!
Audiobook Walking Club will meet at 9:00 a.m. once a month on the second Saturday (weather permitting) at the north side base of the Big Dam Bridge. We will walk along the Arkansas River Trail for about half an hour before turning and walking back. The trail is paved and flat, so all are welcome! (Parental supervision required for children 12 & under.)
Make sure to bring your audiobook, headphones, and a bottle of water! Audiobooks can be checked out with an NLR library card for free on the Libby and Hoopla apps. Bathrooms are available on site.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From Crystal Hill Road, turn onto Northshore Dr. directly opposite New Life Church.
Immediately after the gas station, turn right onto Cooks Landing Road (signs for Big Dam Bridge).
Stay on this road for 0.9 miles, passing the parking area for the Isabella Jo Trail.
Turn left into the Big Dam Bridge parking lot. We will be waiting at the end of the parking lot next to the base of the bridge!
This is the primary location of the William F. Laman Public Library.
