Laufey fans and library fans, unite! It's Library Card Sign Up Month in September, and this year's honorary chair of the nationwide program is Laufey! Icelandic-Chinese singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Laufey has made a name for herself not only as an artist, but as a lover of reading and learning.
In her honor, we'll be celebrating all things cozy and creative at Laman with our tea party, featuring hot tea, refreshments, and a craft! Create a pair of your own tiny book earrings or a tiny book ornament as you sing along to favorite tunes. Dressing up is optional, but we'll be wearing fashions inspired by Laufey--think classic and whimsical!
