Capture a ghost with this unique art practice - come prepared to step outside for a moment!
Cyanotype - an art practice invented by Sir John Herschel way back in the day (1842) - is as close as we're ever going to get to capturing a ghost on paper.
Using specially treated cyanotype paper, we'll stack our designs safely in the shade, expose them to the light of the sun outside, and treat them in a water bath to set the final image. Your designs can be left in the Loft to dry and picked up over the next few days!
We have space for roughly 10 teens, and this is a first-come-first serve program so be sure to get here on time to save your spot!
This is the primary location of the William F. Laman Public Library.
