STEAM Lab, Creative Corner

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to use the laser cutters and engravers available at the Innovation Hub.

Learn how to both laser cut and engrave onto a coaster. This beginner class is your opportunity to learn the basics of using Lightburn and how to create a simple design for the laser. Our instructor will also provide handouts. We can't wait for you to unlock your creativity and showcase your skills! 

Preregistration Required.

Cost $35

In this hands-on class, you'll learn: 

  • How to make a file in Lightburn
  • How to use Lightburn to control the laser
  • How to cut and engrave a coaster on the laser

  • Prerequisite: Vector Design Fundamentals Class
