Are you a teen with an eye for design and looking for volunteer hours? Join us for a 4-week project as we design and build a permanent sculptural display entirely made of cardboard! 6 seats available.
There's a space in the library that could use a little zhuzhing up. Maybe you've seen it? A big, empty platform right across from the Loft's windows. It's time to get creative and bring this space to life!
We're looking for 6 creative, design minded, teens to join us in designing, building, and installing a one-of-a-kind living room set to live permanently on this platform. The catch? We only have 4 sessions to get it done and we have to build the entire set out of cardboard.
Students selected for the project will receive at least 12 hours of volunteer credit toward gratification and their names on the artist's plaque which will be hung along with the display.
Think you've got what it takes to be a part of this unique experience? Email bsmith@nlrlibrary.org for an application.
