Exhibition of watercolor paintings.
Mid-Southern Watercolorists is one of the oldest watercolor organizations in the south, with members from all over the United States and several foreign countries. Our mission is to elevate the stature of watercolor and educate the public to the significance of watercolor as an important medium. We also further the interests of painters by conducting workshops, encouraging art students, having open exhibitions for all members and competitive exhibitions juried by esteemed artists. For our 53rd Juried Exhibition, we are fortunate to have Keiko Tanabe, a professional artist, a sought after instructor, and book author to jury the show and conduct a four day workshop. She chose 40 paintings to hang in the gallery at North Little Rock Public Library - Laman Library. She then narrowed those down to the sixteen award winners. We hope you enjoy the show!
