A book club dedicated to women taking time for themselves!
With all the different roles women wear, sometimes it is hard to remember to take a moment just for yourself. Ebony Read created the Ladies First Book Club with the hopes that it would encourage women to step back and relax, and take time for themselves to decompress, connect, and reflect.
This book club will feature 30 minutes of reading, whatever book you want, followed by a unique speaker. Unwind with us this month as we read a little and participate in a discussion with our guest speaker, Amanda Mills, Licensed Professional Counselor, on the importance of rest.
This is the primary location of the William F. Laman Public Library.
