Join us for five weeks unearthing the ways women crafted history.

Join us in the Studio at Laman for a special 5-week series weaving together crafting and history! We'll be diving into 5 different arts that have been deemed "women's work" in the past: Cross stitch, quilting, canning, embroidery, and textiles more broadly.

This week's topic is quilting. Our instructor will share about the history of this art form and guide participants in a bite-sized craft while we discuss what we've learned. All supplies are provided for this event, and no registration is required. Interested adults and teens are welcome to attend. Each class attended will earn you an entry in our drawing for a crafty care package at the end of the series! We hope to see you there!

Contact Susannah at sstubbs@nlrlibrary.org with any questions.
