Argenta Event SpaceKids learn the basics of cooking and food prep in this FREE weekly class at Argenta Library!
This program is best suited for pre-school, elementary school, and middle school aged children, and may require guardian assistance for younger audiences.
The benefits of cooking for children:
- Nutritional Awareness: Cooking helps children understand the importance of a balanced diet and makes them more likely to try new foods, including fruits and vegetables.
- Life Skills: Learning to cook is a valuable life skill that promotes independence and self-sufficiency. Children gain confidence in their ability to prepare meals and handle kitchen tasks.
- Patience: Cooking can help children develop patience as they wait for food to cook or dough to rise.
Registration required. Registration opens at 12PM one week in advance of the program, please register each child by name, no library card is required.
