A delicious competition of old school desserts. Dust off grandma’s famous pie recipe or stop by to fill up on samples and cast your vote!

Have you ever wanted to put your family recipes to the test? Are you a fan of B. Dylan Hollis’ wacky vintage dishes in “Baking Yesteryear”? Or maybe you just swear by the power of a Jell-o mold! Regardless of your credentials, you are invited to show off your best old-school desserts at the Argenta Public Library on July 17th during the 3rd Friday Art Walk from 5:30-7:30.

Not a chef? No worries! This fun and friendly competition invites the community to get involved as our judges for the evening, sampling and scoring each dessert! Admission to participate is completely free, and sampling will begin by 6:00. The winner will be announced and awarded by the end of the night!

Registration is ONLY required for competitors, and dishes must be made beforehand. Serving cups, space, and signage will be provided. The name of your dish and a list of ingredients must be sent to Carol at cmccreight@nlrlibrary.org by July 10th. It is recommended to bring enough to serve small sample-sized portions to at least 30 people.

Reach out to cmccreight@nlrlibrary.org with any questions!
