Do some Citizen Science on Earth Day! Help real scientists monitor wildlife by classifying trail camera photos online.
April is Citizen Science Month, and SciStarter wants to facilitate 2.5 million "Acts of Science" in April 2026! Join us at Laman on Earth Day to learn how to classify photos of animals from trail cameras. This real work helps Snapshot Wisconsin monitor wildlife to inform wildlife management decisions all over Wisconsin. Volunteers can classify photos from anywhere and make a real difference!
This livestream event hosted by SciStarter will be broadcast from 10 am - 12 pm Central time in our Lecture Hall. The main webinar will be up on our projector, while attendees will do the interactive activity on library laptops or their own devices. Limited laptops are available, so bringing your own is encouraged.
This free program is open to anyone, at any age! Let's do some science together at the library!
