Take a look, it’s more than a book,
It’s economics wherever you look!
With hands-on lessons, tools to explore,
You’ll leave with resources, activities, and more!
Join Economics Arkansas for an after-school professional development session that blends the best of economics, personal finance, and entrepreneurship education. Just like stories can spark imagination, these lessons inspire students to think big, manage money wisely, and even dream up businesses of their own.
We will also explore resources the library offers—from books and digital tools to makerspaces and community programs—so you’ll leave with fresh ideas for your classroom and a better understanding of how libraries can support your students’ learning journeys.
Monthly workshops will be hosted at public libraries across Central Arkansas — the perfect place to imagine new possibilities and connect ideas. Check out the calendar and join us when you can!
Upon successful completion, Arkansas teachers* will receive:
1.5 hours of professional development credit
Ready to use resources
$20 eCheck stipend
Snacks will be served.
***Minimum of 10 teachers needed***
