Chat with a librarian about ways to tell fact from fiction as AI content becomes more and more prominent online! This class is perfect for parents and seniors.
Join Susannah at Laman for an interactive presentation and help session about distinguishing AI-generated content from real content online and even IRL! We'll also cover the definition of "generative AI", how it works, and possible concerns when using the technology yourself. This session is perfect for parents who are curious about what their kiddos are up to, seniors who are worried about misinformation, and anyone else who needs a comforting talk about AI during a disorienting time!
Participants will receive presentation slides and a packet of resources. Registration is optional to help your host make the right number of copies! There will be Q&A time at the end. Email Susannah at sstubbs@nlrlibrary.org with any questions.
