Settle in for quiet reading time featuring blind dates with romance books and snacks, then stick around for optional bookish crafts and chats!
How the blind dates work:
At check in, you will meet your blind book date! All books will be romance books of all genres and you'll have your choice of spicy or non spicy contestants. Once everyone has their date in hand, you will settle in for 30 minutes to get to know your date (silent reading time). Every ten minutes you will have the option to keep getting to know your date, or swap for another book. All books will be available for checkout! Blind dating is totally optional, feel free to bring a book you know you'll love.
The NLR Public Library System has many book clubs to choose from. Already part of one? Bring your club’s current read and see what others are reading. Not in a club yet? This is the perfect time to explore our book clubs and meet new bookish friends!
There’s no assigned reading, just bring your own book! All adult readers are welcome. Registration suggested.
