Do you have old photos you want to digitize? Learn to scan them with our scanner or your smart phone in this hands-on workshop!
Did you know you could scan important documents and precious photos on your phone? Or that you could book an appointment to scan your papers and pictures at the library?
Join Jamie in the Genealogy Room at the Laman Library to learn the basics of scanning your personal papers and how to store or upload your scans.
No registration is required. All levels of experience are welcome, although confidence in computer or smart phone basics will be helpful. You only need to bring your phone as some materials will be available to try scanning yourself, but if you can bring your own photos that’s great!
For more information, contact Jamie at jmiddleton@nlrlibrary.org.
This program is supported in part by a Curtis H. Sykes Memorial Grant from the Black History Commission of Arkansas.
