Join us for an educational six-week program on how to make healthier choices!
Join trained EFNEP educators in the lecture hall at Laman for a FREE six-session course on all things healthy living. The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is to empower individuals, families and youth with limited resources to acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes and behavior changes necessary to maintain nutritionally sound diets and increase physical activity. By the end of the course, participants will experience improvements in four areas:
The course is free to all individuals that qualify for SNAP, WIC, Head Start, or free and reduced school lunches. No registration is required, just show up! Attendance at all six sessions is recommended but not required.
