Take a trinket and leave a trinket in our free little oddities shop!

Are you a crow-like collector of all things shiny and small? Do you have an ever-expanding trinket hoard? Stop by the Argenta Public Library between Tuesday, September 2nd, and Friday, September 5th to visit our pop-up trinket trade! This four day passive program invites you to leave and/or take a trinket from our little collection on display!

Some examples of 'trinkets' could include: 

  • A piece of jewelry
  • An interesting bottle cap
  • A comic strip
  • A smooth stone
  • Your favorite color crayon
  • Anything! 

Participants will also be encouraged to write a note with what they leave behind, chronicling what that object means to them, a memory associated with it, or just a little message to pass on to the next collector. This program is free and does not require registration. Library hours are 9AM-6PM.
