Nothing sets a woodworker apart like having customized tool handles that speak to your personality!
Join us for a (slightly) advanced woodturning experience at the North Little Rock Public Library System’s Innovation Hub. In this full-day, hands-on class, you’ll build on your beginner skills and explore new ways to personalize your turning projects. You’ll leave with two fully finished items—and a lot more confidence at the lathe.
Designed for students who’ve completed at least one woodturning class, this full-day session builds on foundational turning skills.
In this guided workshop, returning students will bring short-handled tools (such as garden tools, kitchen spatulas, or lathe tools) and turn ergonomic wooden handles customized for comfort, balance, and beauty.
After that, you’ll learn to turn a classic wooden spinning top—an engaging, fast-paced project and a long-time class favorite.
