Capture a special memory in a handmade ceramic picture frame! This beginner-friendly pottery class is the perfect way to explore hand-building techniques while creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

With expert guidance, you’ll work with pre-rolled clay slabs (and learn the difference between a soft slab and a hard slab) to form a sturdy and stylish 4” x 6” frame. Add your personal touch using sprig molds, textured rolling pins, and underglaze transfers to create a unique design that reflects your style.

Whether you're new to ceramics or looking for a fun, creative experience, this class will introduce you to the fundamentals of pottery in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Once completed, your frame will be carefully dried and kiln-fired, ready to display your favorite photo.

Pre-registration is required.  Sign up today and learn ceramics in a fun, welcoming environment!

Cost: $45

In this hands-on class, you'll learn:

  • Use hard slabs to build a 4” x 6” picture frame
  • Learn about ceramic tools and terminology
  • Incorporate texture templates and rollers to add a tactile element to your piece if desired
  • Use underglaze transfers to add color and 2D decoration
