Creating With Clay - Mug Making

Use the slab building technique to make a mug!

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll craft a custom mug from start to finish, adding decorative touches to make it uniquely yours.

No experience? No problem! This class is open to all skill levels, from beginners to clay enthusiasts. 

Once your mug is complete, our team will fire and apply a clear glaze, ensuring a beautiful and functional keepsake. We’ll notify you when your finished piece is ready for pickup, so you can enjoy your handmade treasure for years to come.

In this hands-on class, you'll: 

• How to build a mug using slab-building techniques. 
• How to support and join pieces for stability 
• How to shape and finish the design and edges 
• How to use underglazes to add color and decoration! 
• A brief overview of the process of drying and kiln firing
