Beginner Woodturning Part Two: Elevate Your Craft and Shape Stunning Wooden Bowls!

Take your woodturning skills to the next level in Part Two of our immersive woodshop series! If you've mastered the basics of setting up the lathe, it's time to expand your techniques and work with larger wood blocks to create beautifully turned bowls.

Guided by expert instructors from the Diamond State Woodturners Group, you’ll refine your ability to shape both concave and convex forms while learning the precise pressure, distance, and movement needed to sculpt your final pieces. Each student will have their own lathe and dedicated instructor, ensuring hands-on, personalized guidance throughout the class.

Pre-registration Required.

Cost $130

In this hands-on class, you'll learn: 
Advanced lathe techniques for working with larger wood blocks.
How to shape concave and convex forms to craft elegant bowls.
The step-by-step process of transforming raw wood into stunning turned pieces.
