Stand up, speak out, and express yourself with zines!
Come learn about the history of zines and create your very own!
Zines are the original self publication: DIY magazines made for the purpose of spreading a message, sharing art, or telling a story. We’ll explore several styles of zines, and you’ll craft a zine from start to finish. At the end of our program, we’ll make copies, swap our zines, and you’ll have extra copies to take home. No prior skills needed, and all supplies will be provided. Registration is required for this three-week session and attendance is limited to 10 teens. For more information or to register, contact Jenna at jenna.jones@lamanlibrary.org.
This is the primary location of the William F. Laman Public Library.
