Artists of any caliber are welcome to come try out new techniques and learn about all kinds of mediums! This week, we'll learn how to make linocuts, a form of carving and printmaking.
To Your Art's Content is a program meant to give any level of artist an introduction to different art mediums. By giving a small taste of different types of art, both budding artists and long-time creatives can branch out of their comfort zones and try something new! From 4-5:30 PM on April 17th, teens and adults are invited to learn how to make their own linocuts, a form of printmaking that involves carving into linoleum. Materials and assistance will be provided so that each attendee can carve, ink, and print their own works to take home! Talk to Carol at caroline.mccreight@lamanlibrary.org for more information.
