Join folks from the St. Joseph Center of Arkansas to learn about agriculture and connect with other beginning urban farmers!

Join folks from the St. Joseph Center of Arkansas to learn about topics in small agriculture and connect with other beginning urban farmers! There will be four sessions to this series of Wednesday evening workshops:

January 14 - Reading a Soil Test
February 11 - Making a Crop Plan
March 11 - Seed Starting
April 8 - Business Development
Registration is recommended but not required for this FREE ag workshop. All are welcome.

About Growing Urban Farmers:

Growing Urban Farmers is a USDA-NRCS grant-funded program through St. Joseph Center of Arkansas. It aims to increase local food production by elevating and supporting local growers. We provide free events such as workshops and social networking meet-ups, as well as a monthly newsletter, public calendar, social media promotion and connection to a community of others who are just starting in agriculture or who wish to scale their production, get linked to buyers or who simply want to learn more about a wide variety of topics useful to the small farmer.
