No registration required, but supplies may be limited on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is best suited for pre-school, elementary school, and middle school aged children, and may require guardian assistance for younger audiences.
The benefits of cooking for children:
- Nutritional Awareness: Cooking helps children understand the importance of a balanced diet and makes them more likely to try new foods, including fruits and vegetables.
- Life Skills: Learning to cook is a valuable life skill that promotes independence and self-sufficiency. Children gain confidence in their ability to prepare meals and handle kitchen tasks.
- Patience: Cooking can help children develop patience as they wait for food to cook or dough to rise.
If you have a child care center and would like to attend please contact us so we can make sure we have enough supplies.
