Throughout this two-day class, you’ll learn foundational woodworking skills as you cut, shape, glue, and finish your project.

A handmade kitchen tool you’ll be proud to serve with—no pizza required (but highly recommended)!

Whether you’re a pizza connoisseur, aspiring woodworker, or just love a good DIY project, this hands-on woodworking workshop is saucy in all the right ways! Under expert guidance at the North Little Rock Public Library System’s Innovation Hub, you’ll craft your very own custom pizza peel using beautiful blocks of hardwood.

Throughout this two-day class, you’ll learn foundational woodworking skills as you cut, shape, glue, and finish your project. You’ll even walk away with some new lingo—plus a gorgeous, functional kitchen tool that’s ready to serve up pizzas, bread, charcuterie, and compliments.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to safely cut and shape hardwood blocks on the table saw.
• How to glue up wood pieces for a seamless peel surface.
• How to round and chamfer edges using a router.
• How to sand, smooth, and finish your project for kitchen-ready use.

• Dates: Monday, June 16th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and then Saturday, June 21st from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
