Discover the mesmerizing world of fused glass art in this beginner-friendly workshop!

Whether you're new to glasswork or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on class will guide you through the fundamentals of glass cutting, layering, and kiln firing.

You'll design and create a stunning 4"x6" hanging glass garden, learning in-depth techniques to achieve beautiful botanical imagery. By the end of class, you'll have the skills needed to complete the Glass Studio Assessment and continue exploring the art of fused glass independently at the Innovation Hub.

Attire: Participants must wear long pants and closed-toed shoes for safety.

Preregistration Required.

Cost $60

In this hands-on class, you'll learn: 

  • How to score and cut glass safely
  • Which glass materials are suitable for glass fusion
  • What tools are necessary for glass art
  • How to plan and layer your glass art design
  • A brief overview of the process of glass kiln firing to fuse those glass layers together
  • Techniques to achieve different styles of botanical imagery
  • Everything you need to complete the Glass Studio Assessment
