The Central Arkansas Development Council will provide free tax prep assistance to income-qualified individuals and familes at Laman Library on Tuesdays from February 4 through April 15.
CADC VITA FREE TAX SERVICE (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance)
CADC provides IRS trained and certified tax preparers.
Sites file federal and state returns at NO COST.
Federal refunds in 7-10 days.
Customers can receive refunds on debit cards, split refunds into multiple accounts, purchase US Savings Bonds, or find out about free financial education classes
WHAT TO BRING:
Social Security cards for yourself, spouse and all dependents being claimed
Picture ID; Forms W-2 (from every place you worked in 2024
Forms 1099
A copy of last year's tax return (if possible)
Proof of account for Direct Deposit (voided check, deposit slip)
1095A or Health Insurance statements and any other information that would help us prepare your return.

No appointment is required. Everyone will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Please come prepared to wait. You will need to fill out an intake form before you can be seen. These forms are available at the library, or you can click here to print and fill one out before you arrive.
The library will provide activity packs for small children upon request.
