STEM from Dance is a 12-week program designed for girls ages 13 to 15 to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun and engaging way. This unique program combines high-energy dance sessions with hands-on STEM learning, offering participants a dynamic environment to develop new skills and confidence.

Program Highlights:
Analyzing and Interpreting Data: Learn how algorithms prioritize content on social media and influence virality.
Mathematics and Computational Thinking: Investigate the mathematical concepts behind algorithms and uncover the science of what goes viral.
Constructing Explanations and Designing Solutions: Collaborate to design improvements for existing algorithms, addressing the challenges of polarizing content.
What Makes STEM from Dance Unique?
Each session, in partnership with and based on the innovative programs from https://stemfromdance.org/ that integrate movement and STEM concepts, ensuring participants stay energized while diving into topics that matter. By the end of the program, participants will showcase their skills in a tech-infused performance, designed and choreographed by the group. This capstone event highlights the connection between creativity and technology, leaving a lasting impression on both participants and their audience.
