ROVER Neighborhood Stop

The Lot - 601 W. 4th Street , NLR, 72114

Can't make it to the library, well now the library comes to you! Catch us in your neighborhood and join us to have some fun!

ROVER's neighborhood stop of the day is Fairfax Crossing Apartments. All are welcome to come aboard Rover and check out everything that the mobile library has to offer. Need to sign up for a library card? Library cards are free! With your library card, you can check out books and DVD's. Need something notarized? Need to use a laptop or get copies made? You can do that, too! Rover also has a laminator on board. The crafts for the month are Turkey Treat Holders and Paper plate Owl. The Turkey Treat Holders are tailored to patrons ages 3 and older, this craft will be the one that holds the tur-key to your heart! With the guidance of Rover's librarians, make a Turkey decoration sure to make your friends smile. No experience necessary, we can wing it! A miniature clay pot, some artificial leaves, and glue are all the materials needed, which will be provided, to make a turkey that will make your fall festive. The Paper plate owl craft is tailored to patrons of all ages, this craft is owl-dorable. Paper plates, paint, and ribbon will come together to make a wall or door hanging that will make you want to "hoot" and holler!
