It’s National Potato Month! We’ll be turning potatoes into stamps to make block print art!
Let’s make block prints with potatoes! For our third program for National Potato month, you will learn how to create a stamp from start to finish using carving tools and a potato. After you carve your design into the potato, you will use it to make block print art: dipping the stamp in paint and pressing it on paper. Make one stamp or several! No previous skills required, and all materials will be provided. If you have any questions, please email Jenna (jenna.jones@lamanlibrary.org).
