Get a head start on your ARTventure this summer- work alongside fellow creatives to take the art world by storm!
The Visual Arts Camp welcomes budding artists to explore their work from a new perspective alongside like-minded creatives. Throughout this free camp, we will expand each unique artistic practice into a series of works. Targeting specific skills and challenges artists will face as they grow, we'll cover topics such as polishing a concept, utilizing technical strengths, writing an artist statement, preparing for a critique, and much more! With the use of focused exercises, collaboration, and open studio work days, we will push our art to the next level and prepare for the broader art world, culminating in a fully outlined exhibition alongside sample pieces of artwork. Those who attend at least 4 sessions of the program will be invited to participate in our Summer Arts Showcase on August 7th to share their final work with an audience of group members, family, friends, and local artists.
