Join Drienne in the stretching your creative muscle with some poetry reading and writing from a young, modern poet, Amanda Gorman. Amanda S. C. Gorman is an American poet and activist. Her work focuses on issues of oppression, feminism, race and marginalization, as well as the African diaspora. We will read some of her work together, discuss some of her specific writing conventions and style, and write our own poems using what we learned. Lastly, we will share out. No register required.
